We Won! On June 14, 2007, the Constitutional Convention killed -- by a
vote of 151 to 45 -- the constitutional amendment that would ban future same-sex marriages.

| SupportEquality.org is a website created by concerned citizens in Massachusetts who interviewed candidates, identified critical swing races, and found PACs and educational organizations that are working hard to protect marriage rights. During the critical years, we enabled supporters of marriage equality to make donations to key Massachusetts candidates and organizations.

We encourage you to support MassEquality in their efforts secure same-sex marriage in Rhode Island and to defend marriage equality in the other five New England states. Please also consider making a donation to Maine Freedom to Marry. While same-sex marriage was authorized by the Maine legislature on May 6, 2009, opponents of marriage equality are seeking to place a measure on the ballot that would reverse this decision.
